Scope of Work
Full kitchen remodel including custom cabinetry, a large island with seating, new appliance package, quartz countertops, and reconfigured traffic flow.
Client Goal
A family of five needed a hard-working kitchen that could handle daily meal prep and entertaining, replacing a cramped and dated layout.
Challenges
- 1
Removing a load-bearing wall required temporary shoring and a new structural beam installed in one day.
- 2
Plumbing and electrical lines were undersized for the new appliance package and had to be upgraded.
- 3
Client needed to remain in the home throughout construction, requiring dust containment and a temporary kitchen setup.
Solutions
Engineered and installed a flush steel beam to open the space without visible headers.
Upgraded the service panel and rerouted supply lines to support the professional-grade range and double oven.
Built zip-wall dust barriers and set up a temporary prep area with a induction cooktop and utility sink.
